Android API Permission Research
Welcome to our Android API
Permission Lookup Tool. This tool is the product of an
undergraduate research project done at the
University of Calgary.
The research was
on the analysis of permisson's required to access specific API calls
throughout the various
versions of the Android OS.
This Research Project was funded by a P.U.R.E. award.

The tool covers
Android versions:
5(API 21) - 11 (API 30).
Simply pick an API call and Android version, our tool will display the
permissions needed and usually give a starting point on how to accomplish it.
